What it is: 

A medical device used to inhale vapour from cannabis flower. Never produces smoke and is not considered combustion under smoke-free legislation.

Mouthpiece or attachment for inhalation on top 

May come as a medically approved device with CE marking. 

What it is: 

Liquid cannabis extract taken under the tongue or swallowed.

Small amber or opaque glass bottle

Contains measured liquid (mg/ml printed on label) 

Comes in a pharmacy‑labelled bottle

What they are:

What it is: 

Battery device used with medical cannabis cartridges (not nicotine liquids). 

What it looks like: 

Slim battery section with magnetic or screw‑fit cartridge 

Cartridge typically clear with golden oil inside 

Mouthpiece integrated into the cartridge  

Cartridges supplied in pharmacy‑labelled boxes, however patients may not always carry the box with the label. 

Device itself usually unlabelled.
